Purpose

This blog serves dual purposes. First, I hope to use it to document my trip to Europe, a trip which promises to be very memorabe, and secondly, my parents can read it every now and then to reassure themselves that I am still alive and functioning (at least well enough to type). For anyone else reading this, hopefully it will be somewhat entertaining as well.

And I guess it has a third purpose. Venting frustration: if what I'm trying to finish today doesn't work, I'm going to scream, I tell you. On the bright side, there's no one around yet to hear it, so I guess if it's not going to work, it had better not work soon before anyone does show up.
